Tried this cafe for the first time today. We had iced Lattes, Prawn burger, Mushroom toastie, Pork toastie and the truffle fries. The toasties and burger were excellent and great for the price. The fries were absolutely the best. The Japanese mains which we didn't try did seem to be a bit on the pricey side but the toasties were great value. Iced coffees were the best we have had. Place had a nice modern vibe....its small, few seats inside but feels open and airy. There are tables out in the open too. Staff were pleasant especially the male staff. Will recommend for the toasties and iced coffees. Will return to try other toasties.

Been here a few times and every time has been consistently amazing. Chicken Katsu Sando is my go to, went in yesterday, ate one and had to order another one because they’re just that good! Their matcha is also really smooth and tasty, would recommend

Cafe Larome is a delightful fusion of Japanese and French cuisine. For beverage enthusiasts, like me, their Hojicha Latte and Matcha Latte are definitely a MUST to try! The smooth, yet strong creamy texture really reminds me of the drinks that I had when I visited to Kyoto, Japan ???????? We ordered their Cold Takuni Udon and Chicken Katsu Don because we have seen high reviews on it. Guess what? It was amazing. Cold Takuni Udon The cold udon is often praised for its refreshing, slightly chewy texture, paired with a savoury dipping sauce. The flavour really balanced out the coolness of noodles with a savoury depth. If you’re looking for something refreshing, choose this! Chicken Katsu Don This dish is also a standout too. It combines a crispy, breaded chicken with rice, topped with a sweet-savory sauce. It’s usually accompanied by an onsen egg, adding a creamy texture that complements the crispiness of the chicken. The flavours and textures make it a satisfying choice for a more filling meal. Overall, Cafe Larome offers a unique dining experience that also sets in a welcoming environment with friendly staffs too.

Just had my lunch at cafe Larome today! The food was okay but I really rate the service. Unfortunately we ordered an ebi Katsu burger and got a chicken one instead. I requested a new one and staffs were okay with that. After that, the owner came to us to say sorry and offered a refund for the Burger. He also gave us a free truffle chips for take away and apologised for the mistake. I really impressed with how they solved the problem even it wasn’t a big deal. My recommendations: their sando, hojicha ice latte and truffle fries!

Very cute little cafe hidden amongst apartment buildings. Small menu heavily influenced by Japanese flavors, good selection of Toasties and delicious coffee

Very nice ube latte and hojicha latte. But both were already sweeten, so Hojicha latte wasn't t my liking. Ube had strong ube flavor and very purple in color, whereas hojicha had strong hojicha tea flavors also strong in brown color. Both sweetness level are normal. This cafe also have Japanese style food. Indoor sofa seating is very limited, also have outdoor seating. Entrance is actually on the side street. It located at the bottom of an apartment, but too much construction nearby, very hard to find parking. It located near main street as well as famous Chinese temple. Nice area. Staff are friendly.
